Our pack included three dogs and she was the most adorable, and the hardest to love.....I thought. Of all the terrible things going wrong, all the loses of cherished four legged children, hers was the worst. She was the biggest pain in the ass....and the one who needed me most. When I told her mother's owner and her sister's owner that she had died I was so happy to be able to say she got all the love and affection her 6 previous owners could not provide. There was never a brighter day than when she was running with a smile on her face egging the rest of us to hurry our sorry butts because she knew we were missing out on all the fun she was having. So, no matter how seemingly unlovable or overly demanding it's often the one you love least that breaks your heart the most. We were both lucky to have the ones who tested us the most because they are the ones that teach us what love really is.
